What is the Primary Bullion Market?
The Primary Bullion Market is the most competitive precious metals market in the world. Central Banks, Bullion Banks, government agencies, institutional traders, refineries, and fabricators actively participate in this market.
These entities trade gold and silver at competitive global prices in the OTC market. All transactions are settled two business days after execution, ensuring swift and secure trades.

What is the London Bullion Market Association?
The London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) represents the wholesale gold and silver bullion market. London is the focal point for the international OTC precious metals market. This client base includes central banks, producers, refiners, fabricators, and traders globally.
The LBMA Good Delivery List sets the global standard for gold and silver bars. The LBMA’s stringent assaying criteria ensure bar quality. Additionally, LBMA’s Global Precious Metals Code governs participants’ conduct, maintaining integrity in the market.

What are LBMA Good Delivery Standards?
LBMA Good Delivery accreditation sets the global quality standard for gold bars. Accredited refiners must demonstrate high assaying capabilities to remain on the LBMA Good Delivery List.
Key Requirements for Refiners:
- Minimum production of 10 tonnes annually
- Established for at least five years
- A tangible net worth of £15 million or more
Maintaining these standards ensures the integrity and liquidity of bars traded within the market.
What is a Good Delivery Bar?
A Good Delivery Bar meets strict physical specifications set by the LBMA. These bars are widely accepted in the wholesale bullion market due to their high purity and quality.
Key Specifications for Good Delivery Gold Bars:
- Weight: 350 to 430 troy ounces
- Purity: Minimum 99.5% fine gold
- Markings: Assay stamp, fineness, serial number, and year of manufacture
These specifications ensure the marketability and authenticity of the bars.
What Does ‘Chain of Integrity’ Mean?
The “Chain of Integrity” ensures that gold bars meet the highest quality standards. Bars can only enter the chain if they meet LBMA Good Delivery standards.
Each bar in the chain is marked with:
- A unique serial number
- The official bar weight
- The purity (fineness)
- The refiner’s mark
Maintaining the chain protects the authenticity and value of the precious metals.
Why Is ‘Good Delivery Standards’ Bullion Ownership Important?
Good Delivery bullion ownership provides liquidity. By storing these bars in recognized vaults, you avoid the need for re-assaying, which adds costs. The audit trail guarantees the authenticity of the bullion, ensuring that it remains in the Chain of Integrity.
What is the Spot Market Price?
The Spot Market Price is the price paid for gold when the trade settles immediately, typically within two business days. Participants in the Primary Bullion Market enjoy these globally competitive prices.
Spot prices are quoted in US dollars per troy ounce. The buyer typically arranges collection and delivery of the bullion.
What is the London Gold Fixing?
The LBMA Gold Price, or London Gold Fixing, sets a standard price twice a day for gold transactions. This price serves as a benchmark for pricing many financial instruments, including swaps and options.
Which Banks Are Members of the London Gold Fixing?
Fourteen major market-making members of the LBMA participate in the London Gold Fixing. These include Barclays, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, JP Morgan, and others.
What Is the Procedure for Arriving at the Fixing Price?
During the gold fixing, participants submit buy and sell orders based on the starting price. Adjustments are made until the net volume reaches a pre-set tolerance, ensuring an efficient price discovery process.
How Is the Fixing Used in the Market?
The fixing price is crucial for dealing in large volumes of gold. Many financial instruments, such as cash-settled swaps and options, use the fixing as a benchmark.
In large transactions, this standardized price provides a reference that ensures transparency and consistency across deals. By using the fixing, market participants can rely on an accepted price that reflects the current market conditions.

What is Gold’s Historical Significance?
Throughout history, gold has served as a universal store of value, medium of exchange, and symbol of wealth. It is unique for its combination of properties—rarity, divisibility, durability, and universal acceptance. For centuries, gold has provided individuals, nations, and civilizations with protection against political and financial instability.
Unlike financial assets, physical gold is not a promise of future performance and does not rely on counterparties. Its value is derived from global supply and demand. In times of economic or geopolitical uncertainty, gold remains a safe haven, maintaining its value when other assets falter.
Gold’s enduring status as a trusted asset ensures its place in investment portfolios, particularly for those seeking security and diversification against systemic risks.

Why Invest in Gold and Other Precious Metals?
FAQ – Why invest in gold is often asked. Investors often choose tangible investments like gold bullion bars to protect their wealth and secure their purchasing power over time.
Gold helps manage risk by increasing returns and reducing expected losses in extreme circumstances. Gold’s unique correlation to other assets benefits both short-term and long-term holders, especially during market turmoil. In particular, long-term holders can manage risk without sacrificing returns.
Even small allocations to gold, ranging from 3% to 10%, positively impact portfolio structure. These allocations can reduce Value at Risk (VaR) while maintaining similar returns to portfolios without gold.
Gold stands out as a part commodity, luxury good, financial, and monetary asset, behaving differently from other asset classes.
Finally, gold’s liquidity and lack of credit or counterparty risk make it valuable during periods of financial distress.

Does Gold Offer Protection Against Systemic Risk?
Gold as a Safe Haven
Our financial system is more interconnected than ever before. This increases systemic risk, making gold an attractive option for those seeking protection.
The financial crisis of 2007-2008 became a global systemic problem. Governments and central banks intervened, injecting trillions of dollars into a strained system. In doing so, they blurred the line between government and banking institutions, leading to further instability.
Why Gold Holds Value
Gold cannot go bankrupt. While its value fluctuates, it consistently retains value due to its scarcity. Historically, gold has held its real value over centuries. Investors use it as a safeguard against systemic risks such as international crises or a systemic crash.
Moreover, gold brings much-needed diversification to investor portfolios. Its low correlation with major currencies and strong inverse correlation with the US dollar make it a crucial component of a diversified portfolio.

Why Is Gold Considered Portfolio Insurance?
Most wealth today is concentrated in financial instruments within a highly correlated system, leaving it vulnerable to systemic risks. Gold acts as portfolio insurance because it is not correlated to traditional financial instruments and operates independently from the system.
Physical gold stored outside the financial system diversifies a portfolio, ensuring that it retains value even in financial crises.

Does Gold Act As A Safe Haven Against Currency Weakness?
As nations attempt to depreciate their currencies through money creation, gold becomes a safe haven. While central banks continue creating money, gold retains its value because it cannot be printed or devalued by government action.
As the dollar weakens, gold’s scarcity and historic status as money make it a reliable store of wealth.
How Is Gold A Hedge Against Monetary Inflation and Asset Deflation?
Gold serves as an effective hedge against inflation and deflation. It holds its value and purchasing power even as other assets lose value during inflationary periods.
As inflation erodes currency value, real assets like gold become even more valuable as they do not lose value like financial assets.FAQ – Why invest in gold is often asked.
Why Is Gold An Essential Component Of a Diversified Portfolio?
Gold offers excellent diversification opportunities. Its low correlation with other asset classes ensures that portfolios containing gold are more robust during market instability.
Investing in gold balances traditional assets, reducing volatility and protecting portfolios from sudden market shifts.
Can Investing In Precious Metals Be A Good Way Of Saving?
Many investors view gold and silver as an alternative to cash. By holding bullion in a Clear Title Account, they can track their investments and grow their wealth outside of traditional banking systems.FAQ – Why invest in gold is often asked.
- ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:
- Learn more about Clear Title Gold Ownership.
Is There A Risk Of Precious Metal Shortages?
The demand for gold continues to outpace supply. Central banks have begun to accumulate gold, increasing its scarcity.
With rising demand and reduced supply, gold prices are expected to rise, benefiting those who hold physical gold.
Are There Risks Involved In Purchasing Gold?
All investments involve risk, and bullion is no exception. Gold prices can fluctuate due to economic factors and market sentiment. However, owning physical gold offers direct ownership, reducing risks associated with financial products.
Unlike shares or investments in gold companies, Strategic Gold account holders have clear title to actual physical bullion, providing a safer investment.
Is the Gold Market a Commodity Market or a Currency Market?
FAQ – The Best Way to Own Gold
Many people don’t realize that gold trades on the Forex market, just like any other currency. Although most banks refer to gold as a commodity, they trade it at their currency desks, not on their commodity desks. Gold, as a globally recognized currency, has the code XAU, distinct from the gold miner’s equity index, which shares the same acronym. Most central banks include gold reserves as part of their foreign currency holdings. Thus, despite claims to the contrary, gold functions as money.
Gold in the Forex Market
The foreign exchange market (Forex or FX) facilitates global currency trades, operating 24 hours a day. The bulk of trading occurs in London and New York, with significant activity in Tokyo, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Volume of Gold Trading
In September 2013, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) published a study titled “Triennial Central Bank Survey 2013.” The report revealed that the average daily trading volume in the FX market was $5.3 trillion. This figure includes spot transactions, forwards, swaps, and options.
Comparing Gold Markets
Gold trades $249 billion daily in currency markets, ranking as the 5th most actively traded currency worldwide. By comparison:
- Physical gold trading: 16 tonnes or $650 million daily
- GLD (ETF): 50 tonnes or $2 billion daily
- Comex: 500 tonnes or $20 billion daily
- Forex market: Over 6,000 tonnes or $249 billion daily
These numbers make it clear that the price of gold is not primarily driven by the small physical market. Instead, it reflects a highly synthetic currency trade.
Who Has Been Backstopping The Gold Market?
Paper Gold vs. Physical Gold
Today, most gold investors own financial instruments that track the price of gold, often referred to as “paper gold”. These credit-gold investments are only as valuable as long as they trade at parity with physical gold. While credit-gold depends on the physical market, the reverse is not true.
European Central Banks’ Role
For years, European central banks served as the lender of last resort in the gold market’s fractional reserve practices. However, with the 1999 Central Bank Gold Agreement (CBGA), restrictions were placed on central bank sales and leases of gold, ensuring that gold remains an essential wealth reserve.
Is The Gold Price Manipulated?
The Debate on Manipulation
This topic divides both investors and economists. While some claim gold prices are manipulated, the real issue lies in the gold market’s structure. This structure allows participants to interfere with the price mechanism.
Gold as a Currency
Gold continues to function as an independent currency within the Over-the-Counter (OTC) market. Banks treat gold as they would any other currency, using it in cash, account balances, and various financial instruments. However, a large portion of gold trading involves derivatives created by banks to track the gold price.
How are Precious Metals Different from Financial Assets?
Lack of Counterparty Risk
Precious metals like gold and silver bullion can be preferable to financial assets due to the absence of counterparties. Securities, derivatives, and ETF products carry counterparty risks, which tangible assets like gold do not. By investing in physical gold, you eliminate counterparty risk.
Store of Value
Gold’s 5,000-year history as a store of value and its universal acceptance make it unique. Its liquidity and independence from financial systems make it a strong reserve asset for central banks and investors alike.
Why Not Invest In Gold Using Securities Or Derivatives?
Risks of Gold Derivatives
Gold derivatives like futures and options contracts are complex and carry hidden leverage. Investing in these financial instruments is a speculation on price movements, not an investment in gold itself. Risks include leverage, volatility, and counterparty defaults.
Real Gold vs. Paper Gold
Gold is not a paper credit or a contract for future settlement. It is a tangible asset. Paper credits and financial contracts, including ETFs, are ultimately short positions on physical gold.
Why Should I Use Strategic Gold Instead of Buying Gold ETFs?
ETFs: Limited Ownership
Precious metals ETFs only track gold’s price and do not grant ownership of physical bullion. They expose investors to counterparty risk without the benefits of physical gold ownership or delivery options.
Why Choose Physical Gold?
In contrast, Strategic Gold’s Clear Title Accounts provide physical ownership of gold, free from financial counterparties. Your investment remains fully liquid and insulated from the risks involved with ETFs.
Why Use Strategic Gold Instead of Spread Betting?
Leverage Risks
Spread betting on gold prices with leverage can quickly work against investors, especially in volatile markets. In spread betting, you only hold an electronic bet on the price of gold, not the asset itself.
Physical Gold vs. Financial Bets
Owning physical gold through Strategic Gold removes the financial risks associated with spread betting, allowing investors to diversify away from counterparty risk.
Why Not Invest In Gold Mining Shares Instead Of Physical Gold?
Risks of Gold Mining Shares
Gold mining shares expose investors to risks like exploration, extraction, jurisdictional, and management risks. The price of energy and currency fluctuations can also affect mining profitability, making these shares more speculative than physical gold.
Security in Physical Gold
If you seek security and diversification, investing in physical gold provides more stability and fewer risks than gold mining shares.
Why Is Opening a Clear Title Account Better Than Buying Gold Coins?
Coins vs. Bullion Bars
Gold coins may be suitable for small, immediate needs, but bullion bars offer a more efficient investment for larger sums. Coins are more expensive to produce, and their higher cost per ounce is typically not recovered when resold.
Efficiency and Liquidity
Investing in gold through Strategic Gold’s Clear Title Program allows you to buy and sell at the spot market price. This makes your investment highly liquid, with fast settlement periods.
Why Should I Buy Gold Through Strategic Instead of Going to a Dealer?
Convenience and Security
Strategic Gold offers a convenient, cost-efficient way to purchase, store, and sell gold bullion. Dealers often don’t provide storage, leaving you responsible for securing your gold, which is usually uninsurable.
Guaranteed Liquidity
Strategic Gold guarantees the Chain of Integrity for your bullion. This ensures full liquidity and eliminates the need for re-assaying when selling your gold.
What Is Meant By Clear Title Ownership?
Clear Title Ownership ensures that you hold direct, legal, and marketable title to your gold and silver in your Clear Title Account. You always maintain the right to sell or take delivery of your bullion at any time. With Strategic Gold, your assets remain fully liquid and secure within a transparent environment, free from vague collateral arrangements.
We guarantee that every bar of bullion you purchase and store receives a Clear Title, verifying your ownership by weight, hallmark, purity, and serial number. Unlike unallocated or pooled accounts, your allocated bullion remains your exclusive property, safeguarded from any third-party claims, even in the event of bankruptcy.
Does My Clear Title Account Work Like A Regular Bank Account?
No, it doesn’t. While many people believe their bank holds deposits for safekeeping, this isn’t the case. Once you deposit funds, the bank owns them, and you become an unsecured creditor of the bank.
However, with a Clear Title Account, you retain full ownership of your gold and silver. Unlike bank deposits, your assets remain yours at all times.
In today’s financial environment, safeguarding your wealth is crucial. Owning physical gold through your Clear Title Account provides a safe haven outside the financial system, protecting your assets from systemic risks.
What Is A Clear Title Account’s Legal Structure?
Bailment Foundation
The Clear Title Account is built around the principle of bailment, allowing you to retain full ownership of the bullion while Strategic Gold manages it on your behalf.
Ownership and Control
Through the bailment agreement, you authorize Strategic Gold to hold and manage your bullion. However, ownership and control always remain with you.
- ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:
- Learn more about bailment and your Clear Title Account.
What Is Required For The Establishment Of A Bailment Contract?
To establish a bailment contract, three elements are necessary: delivery, acceptance, and consideration.
- Delivery: You transfer control of the bullion to Strategic Gold, enabling us to safeguard and manage it effectively.
- Acceptance: Strategic Gold must knowingly accept control over the bullion for the contract to be valid.
- Consideration: You temporarily give up the immediate use of your bullion, which forms the basis for the bailment contract.
- ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:
- Clear Title Terms and Conditions: Bailments in the Clear Title Program.
Why Is Bailment Important?
Through bailment, you retain complete ownership of your bullion. Each bar, identified by hallmark, weight, purity, and serial number, remains your personal property, fully protected by property rights.
In summary, this structure provides protection in the unlikely event of bankruptcy, ensuring your bullion remains safe and untouched.
- ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:
- Clear Title Terms and Conditions: Bailments and business failure.
What Are The Advantages Of Clear Title Ownership?
Your Clear Title Account offers the advantage of owning liquid reserves that do not rely on counterparties or capital markets. You can also diversify your assets geographically, choosing from secure vaults in Canada, England, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United States.
- Direct ownership of specific bullion bars protected by bailment law

What Kinds Of Risks Does My Clear Title Ownership Protect Me From?
Your Clear Title Account shields you from a range of financial risks. These include liquidity risk, leverage risk, market risk, counterparty risk, operational risk, and regulatory risk. Here’s how each risk is addressed:
Liquidity Risk
Your bullion remains highly liquid. You can easily convert it to cash since all bullion in a Clear Title Account is investment grade and traded on the global Primary Market.
Leverage Risk
Clear Title Accounts involve no borrowed funds or leverage. You own your bullion directly, with no reliance on derivatives, hedging, or leveraging strategies.
Market Risk
The global gold and silver markets are among the deepest and most stable. Gold, recognized as a reserve asset and a safe haven asset, provides long-term stability for your portfolio.
Counterparty Risk
Clear Title Accounts ensure there are no pooled or unallocated holdings. Your bullion is specifically allocated to you, ensuring full ownership protection through bailment law.
Operational Risk
Strategic Gold operates with stringent internal and external controls, reinforced by independent audits. We do not engage in speculative trading or take proprietary risks, ensuring your bullion remains secure.
Compliance and Regulatory Risk
Clear Title Accounts are not securities, so they are not subject to the same regulations as financial assets. This shields your bullion from the shifting regulatory landscape that affects securities.

Strategic Gold performs daily reconciliations to ensure all client funds are fully accounted for. Additionally, every movement of cash requires the approval of two senior officers, ensuring the highest level of security for each transaction.
Your funds remain readily available for immediate withdrawal or bullion purchases. However, as with any bank deposit, there is always potential exposure to bank failure. Holding physical bullion in your Clear Title Account, however, eliminates this risk entirely.

We offer a wide variety of internationally recognized bullion bars and coins in your Clear Title Account, ensuring that purchasing and selling gold is simple and efficient.
SMALLER EXACT WEIGHT BARS
Strategic Gold offers a variety of smaller exact weight bars. The fine gold content of these bars depends on their fineness, and clients only pay for the fine gold content they own.
Smaller exact weight bars from the Primary Bullion Market are available at a premium to the Spot Market Price. For instance, Kilo bars (32.148 oz) typically trade at a $2 premium to Spot, while one-ounce bars usually trade at a $5 premium to Spot.
LARGER GOOD DELIVERY BAR
For larger investments, London Good Delivery Bars weigh approximately 400 oz (12.5kg), with a weight range between 350 oz and 430 oz (fine gold). These bars trade at the Spot Market Price, ensuring transparency.
Similarly, Comex Good Delivery Bars weigh around 100 oz, with a range between 95 oz and 105 oz. These bars also trade at the Spot Market Price.
Good Delivery Gold Bullion Bars are purchased at the Spot Market ‘ask’ Price and sold at the Spot Market ‘bid’ Price.
SILVER BULLION BARS
Silver is available in a range of smaller bars, such as 1, 5, and 10-ounce bars, as well as Kilo, 100-ounce, and 1,000-ounce bars. Larger bars, like the 1,000-ounce bars, typically trade at the Spot Market Price, while smaller bars often trade at a premium.
GOVERNMENT MINTED COINS

What Is Allocated Storage?
Understanding Allocated Storage
All precious metals stored in Strategic Gold’s Clear Title Program are fully allocated. In other words, “Allocated” means that each specific bar or coin is held in the vault exclusively for the owner.
Benefits of Allocated Storage
Allocated storage ensures that you, the account holder, retain full legal title to the specific bars or coins you own. Neither Strategic Gold nor any third party has ownership over your metals; they are stored exclusively for you. Therefore, we call it the Clear Title Program—you always maintain full, clear ownership of your assets.
No Claims by Third Parties
Strategic Gold and the vault custodian cannot claim any rights to your precious metals. Consequently, your ownership remains fully protected at all times.
- ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:
- Your specific bullion is held as a bailment
- Your bullion is independently verified
How does Allocated Storage Benefit a Clear Title Accountholder?
Ownership and Security
Allocated storage provides the safest and most transparent way to hold Clear Title to your precious metals. You, as the direct owner, maintain full control over your assets. Strategic Gold, the vault custodian, or any other entity does not hold ownership.
Comparison: Allocated vs. Unallocated Storage
Allocated metals are not reflected on Strategic Gold’s balance sheet or the vault operator’s. Instead, these assets belong solely to you and are not considered financial liabilities. By contrast, unallocated metals are listed as company assets, with customer claims appearing as liabilities. In case of bankruptcy, creditors could claim unallocated assets, leaving customers without access to their metals.
Protection Against Bankruptcy
Because Strategic Gold exclusively offers allocated storage, your metals remain your property and never appear as assets or liabilities on our books. Even if Strategic Gold or our vault partners face financial difficulties, creditors cannot claim your metals. As a result, your assets remain secure.
- ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:
- Your specific bullion is held as a bailment
- Bailment protects your property rights
What Are The Key Benefits Of Strategic Gold’s Secure Storage?
Systemic Protection and Risk Mitigation
Strategic Gold’s Clear Title Program meets systemic insurance standards, providing protection against counterparty risk. Unlike ETFs and derivatives, our program ensures that you have real ownership of physical gold, securely stored in non-financial vaults near global bullion markets.
Key Advantages of Secure Storage
Our Clear Title Accounts combine the benefits of modern financial products—such as liquidity, transparency, and professional management—with the advantages of tangible goods—such as strong property rights, no reliance on financial institutions, and high liquidity.
- Your metals remain your exclusive property.
- Fully insured bullion in accredited vaults.
- Geographic diversification of your holdings.
- Strong legal protections in multiple jurisdictions.
- No leverage, derivatives, or financial risks.

Are My Precious Metals Insured?
Insurance Coverage
Your precious metals are fully insured at their market value at all times. The insurance cost is included in your administration fee. Moreover, Strategic Gold ensures that the insurance coverage maintained by each vault operator equals the total value of the precious metals they store for Clear Title accountholders.
How Do I Know That My Precious Metals Are Really In The Vault?
Verification and Reconciliation
We have implemented several checks and balances to ensure that your precious metals remain secure. Strategic Gold works closely with partner vault operators to maintain a reliable and secure Precious Metals System. Furthermore, we regularly reconcile precious metals holdings, collaborating with both our vaulting partners and independent auditors.
Audit Process
Our vault partners send daily inventory reports that include detailed bar lists, which we verify with client records. Additionally, Bureau Veritas conducts semi-annual physical audits of all client holdings, ensuring a one-to-one match between metals in the vault and records in our system. Every client receives an individual account audit report after each audit.

Each month, we calculate the Administrative Services Fee by applying a Monthly Periodic Rate to the Average Daily Value of the precious metals in your account. Additionally, the Monthly Periodic Rate is 1/12th of the Annual Rate. Every day, we determine the value of your account by multiplying the number of ounces of precious metals by the Daily London PM Fix price of bullion per ounce. At the end of the month, we calculate the Average Daily Value by adding the Daily Values for each day of the period and dividing by the number of days in that period.

Who Is Strategic Gold Corporation?
In the late 1970s, American and European family businesses formed an alliance, now operating under Universal Services Inc. This international partnership has since created and administered financial products and services, including Brokerage, Investment Advisory, Fund Administration, Real Estate, and Precious Metals.
Each family business contributes its expertise, bringing distinct historical and geopolitical perspectives. As a result, we have consistently delivered innovative products and services that adapt to changing regulatory and market environments.
From the start, the partners recognized the importance of including gold in a balanced portfolio. Our multi-generational experience, spanning two continents, has always featured a gold component. Strategic Gold follows in the footsteps of:
- Anchor Gold and Currency Trust, a closed-end mutual fund investing in gold, currencies, and sovereign debt (1982-2001)
- Universal Gold Limited, an offshore corporation offering equity ownership of physical gold (1990-present)
Strategic Gold’s Clear Title Accounts combine the liquidity, transparency, and professional administration of modern financial products with the security of tangible assets. These accounts eliminate counterparty and capital market risk, protecting our clients’ wealth while positioning it for potential profit during systemic disruptions.
How Is Strategic Gold Different?
Strategic Gold Corporation facilitates direct, uncompromised ownership of precious metals by connecting investors with the Primary Bullion Market through our Clear Title Program.
We prioritize risk management. Our company was founded in response to the systemic risks exposed during the 2007-2009 financial crisis, risks that continue to pose threats today.
We believe the best way to protect against systemic risk is to own reserve assets and safe-haven assets outside the financial system. Physical gold and silver uniquely meet this criterion as they are highly liquid and independent of financial institutions.
Key Features of Our Program:
- Diversification through Direct Ownership of Fully Allocated Physical Bullion
- Access to the Primary Bullion Market (one of the largest capital markets)
- Immediate Order Execution at the Spot Market Price
- Liquidity: Buy and Sell at Your Discretion with no lock-up period
- Secure Global Storage Options
- Semi-Annual Independent Audit Statements
- No Burdensome Reporting Requirements
- Customized solutions for individual goals
- Ongoing support and education
We provide administrative services and accredited safekeeping to ensure your precious metals investment seamlessly integrates into a modern portfolio.

Where Does Strategic Gold Purchase Precious Metals?
Strategic Gold purchases precious metals from refiners recognized by the LBMA for producing Good Delivery Bars. Through our trading account in the Primary Bullion Market, we ensure our clients receive competitive prices in the wholesale market.
We have access to the wholesale Primary Bullion Market, a marketplace traditionally reserved for Central Banks, Bullion Banks, government agencies, and large institutional traders. Thanks to our long-standing position, we allow retail investors to purchase smaller quantities of gold or silver at wholesale prices, usually reserved for larger entities. Consequently, our clients benefit from the best prices available.
How Can The Gold And Silver Prices Be So Good?
Thanks to our long-standing relationships in the Primary Bullion Market, the Clear Title Program provides significant advantages. Clients can quickly and efficiently buy and sell precious metals at prices typically reserved for large institutional customers. Therefore, clients benefit from the wholesale Spot Market Price, usually available to large traders, refineries, government agencies, Central Banks, and Bullion Banks.
What Fees Does Strategic Gold Charge?
A key value of your Clear Title Account is its simplified fee structure.
Transaction Fees:
Strategic Gold charges a transaction fee on purchases and sales. We do not impose fabrication fees, vault in/out fees, or other hidden premiums or commissions.
Administrative Services Fee:
Clients in the Clear Title Program pay an annual Administrative Services Fee. The fee is 0.75% of the market value of their gold bullion holdings and 0.875% of the market value of their silver bullion holdings. Billed quarterly, this fee covers custody, vault storage, semi-annual audits, insurance, and comprehensive reporting.
Strategic Gold delivers transparency and ease of transaction, allowing you to buy and sell gold at Spot Market prices in the Primary Bullion Market.

All transactions are processed using a coded client identification number, ensuring maximum confidentiality.
Is Strategic Gold A Bank?
No. Strategic Gold is not a bank as we do not make loans or take deposits. Each specific bullion bar administered through our Clear Title Program is allocated to a specific account, which means the accountholder always owns it directly.
Furthermore, Strategic Gold does not engage in speculative trading, margin trading, futures, hedging, or derivative positions, and we do not incur indebtedness of any kind.
Is Strategic Gold A Collective Investment Scheme?
No. Strategic Gold is not a collective investment scheme. We do not commingle assets, offer pooled accounts, or share ownership of bullion bars.
Client assets, whether cash or bullion, are never held on the balance sheet of Strategic Gold.
Is Strategic Gold A Money Transmitter?
No. Strategic Gold is not a money transmitter and is not subject to regulation as a Money Services Business (MSB). All money used to fund Clear Title Account purchases must originate from the bank account disclosed during account setup. Likewise, disbursements are sent back to the same account.
This “closed system” ensures we are not classified as a Money Transmitter.
What Happens If Strategic Gold Ceases To Exist?
If Strategic Gold ceases to exist, your allocated gold and silver remain your legal property. Ownership of your gold investments does not depend on the company’s existence because client bullion assets never appear on our balance sheet.
If Strategic Gold becomes unable to fulfill its obligations due to force majeure, bankruptcy, or dissolution, the Strategic Gold Operational Procedures for Circumstances In Extremis will be initiated. We have established an independent Trustee to protect the individual property rights of our clients. This Trustee has access to our critical systems and database, ensuring continued administration of the Clear Title Program for the benefit of each client. Our custodian (Loomis International) and trading partners will also recognize the Trustee as the lawful agent in such circumstances.
We believe our business model sets us apart from most firms in the industry, where client funds can be at risk from business failures or extreme market conditions. Our platform provides a superior way to invest in gold, offering certainty of ownership and minimizing systemic risk.

What Is The Regulatory Status Of Strategic Gold Corporation?
Company Status
Strategic Gold is not an investment or fund management business. We do not invest on your behalf nor offer investment advice. Instead, we enable you to buy, hold, sell, and take delivery of precious metals.
Regulatory Exemptions
Although we adhere to the highest business standards, Strategic Gold is not required to register with any regulatory authority. This is because we only deal with non-securitized physical gold and silver. As a result, we are exempt from several regulations:
- We are not governed by the Securities Act of 1933 since all precious metals held in Clear Title Accounts are allocated and unencumbered bullion, not securitized forms of the metal.
- We are not governed by the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 because we do not provide management or advisory services.
- The CFTC does not regulate us under Section 742 of Dodd-Frank, as we settle transactions within the allowed time frame (T+2).
Money Services Business Exemption
We are not classified as a Money Services Business (MSB) because we operate a “closed system.” All funds used to purchase bullion must originate from a linked bank account, and disbursements are sent back to that same account. Consequently, we are not considered a Money Transmitter.

How Does Strategic Gold Manage Risk Exposure In Its Daily Operations?
Comprehensive Risk Management
Strategic Gold’s mission revolves around managing risk. We established the company in response to systemic risks revealed during the 2007-2009 financial crisis. Direct ownership of physical gold and silver provides the best protection against these risks.
Enterprise Risk Management Program
Our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program enables us to identify and control risks throughout the company. By integrating risk management into daily business practices, we continuously improve our ability to safeguard client assets. This proactive approach allows us to address and anticipate risks effectively.
Continuous Improvement
Risk management is an ongoing process. Therefore, our ERM program evolves with new challenges and opportunities to ensure that we remain ahead of potential risks while continuously refining our controls.

Does My Ownership Depend On The Solvency Of Strategic Or The Custodians?
Ownership Independence
Your ownership does not depend on the solvency of Strategic Gold or the custodians. You maintain Clear Title to your assets at all times, and you retain the right to take delivery of your gold whenever you choose. The bullion assets held in your Clear Title Account remain your outright property, stored independently in specialist facilities run by accredited vault operators. Strategic Gold only administers your assets, as evidenced by the Bailment Agreement. Consequently, even if Strategic Gold or a custodial vault fails, your assets remain yours.

Would A Creditor Of Strategic Or The Custodians Have Any Hold On My Assets?
Protection Against Creditors
No, your bullion remains your exclusive property. Because it is allocated to you alone, it is not considered the property of Strategic Gold or the custodian vaults. Therefore, it is fully protected from any claims by creditors.
What Happens If Strategic Gold Or The Vault Custodian Goes Bankrupt?
Ownership Protection in Bankruptcy
When you sign the Bailment Agreement upon opening your account, it establishes that you have direct, uncompromised legal title—Clear Title—to your gold and silver. This means that even if Strategic Gold or a vault custodian goes bankrupt, your ownership remains intact and unaffected by any corporate failures.
